small groups

Small Groups are offered for students in 6th - 12th Grade!

Why Join a Small Group?: We believe that small groups are where your student has the greatest opportunity for spiritual growth! These groups exist for students to be known and loved by their peers and leaders through studying God's Word and having fun in the process. Our hope is to bring groups of kids together to build accountability and Christ-centered relationships.

How Are Small Groups Created?: At the beginning of each semester, we assemble new small groups. These groups are divided first by gender, then by grade, and then often friends/school (have your friends sign up too)! Each small group normally has 4 -15 students in it. If you are not in a small group already, attached below is a link to sign up! Please email us if you are having any trouble or have more questions.

When/Where is Small Group?: Small groups happen during the school year on a regular basis (either weekly or bi-weekly). At the beginning of each semester, the leader will set a consistent meeting time that works best with everyone in the group. Tulsa KLIFE does not have a permanent home, so most groups either meet in family homes or coffee shops. Thank you in advance for being willing to host every so often :)

Who Leads These Groups?: Each small group is led by one or two KLIFE volunteers who have a heart for ministry and working with kids. Each volunteer has been through an interview process with KLIFE staff, received a background check, completed our student protection plan training, and signed a commitment to follow Christ in their own life.

What Do They Study in Small Group?: Leaders will choose from a pre-approved list of curriculum that KLIFE staff has either created or provided. We want every lesson to be walking through the Truth of God’s Word. We will always start with the Gospel and build upon that foundation.
